Tampa Triple Homicide Suspect Arrested
The man is accused of killing his girlfriend, his brother-in-law and another woman.

A 22-year-old Tampa man faces three first-degree murder charges following a Saturday morning shooting.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:47 a.m. when a man forcibly entered a home at 2501 54th St. N. The man then shot and killed two people inside before shooting his girlfriend.
The man is said to have then taken his girlfriend, who has been identified as Olivia Miller, 22, to Tampa General Hospital where she later died.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the motive was domestic related over the suspect’s
three-year-old nephew and family custody issues,” police spokeswoman Andrea Davis wrote in an email to media.
One of the victims inside the home has been identified as George Gort, 25, the accused shooter’s brother-in-law. The other, a 23-year-old woman, has not yet been identified by police.

Angel Luis Perez, 22, is being charged with three counts of first-degree murder, armed burglary and kidnapping, Davis wrote. He has not yet been booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.
