Temporary Lane Closure E Sligh Avenue

A portion of E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning January 13.

A portion of E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, January 13, 2020 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a small wireless facility and associated equipment on the south side of E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street.

The eastbound lane on E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street will close at 9 am beginning on January 13, 2020.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street will be intermittently maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the work area will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained via flagmen in the work area, during construction.

All lanes on E Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and N 30th Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 31, 2020, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Motorists can use E Hanna Avenue between N 22nd Street and N 30th Street in lieu of E Sligh Avenue.
