Temporary Lane Closure On W Platt Street
A portion of W Platt Street between South Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on Monday, Jan 6.

A portion of W Platt Street between South Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on Monday, January 6, 2020 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing equipment on and adjacent to an existing utility pole for a small wireless facility on the north side of W Platt Street between S Plant Avenue and S Parker Street.

One (1) lane on W Platt Street between S Magnolia Avenue and S Parker Street will close at 9 am beginning on January 6, 2020.
One (1) lane of traffic on W Platt Street between S Magnolia Avenue and S Parker Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk on the north side of W Platt Street between S Plant Avenue and S Parker Street will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other sidewalks in the area with signage.
It is anticipated that all lanes on W Platt Street between S Magnolia Avenue and S Parker Street will be open by 3 pm on Friday, January 10, 2020, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
