DPR Construction has highlighted two partners, DuCon Construction and Strategist Project Support Services, for work in Tampa

DPR Construction is highlighting two of its partners, DuCon Construction and Strategist Project Support Services, who are working on The City Center at Hanna Ave. project as part of Construction Inclusion Week.

DPR Construction is the prime contractor for the City of Tampa on the City Center project, located at 2525 E. Hanna Ave. in East Tampa. The City Center is an 11-acre complex that replaces a vacant warehouse with four state-of-the-art buildings. Once finished, the City Center will provide residents with increased access to government services, ample parking, nearby public transportation, and more greenspace.

DPR Construction has been working to partner with minority-owned and women-owned construction companies for subcontracting opportunities on the City Center project. Already, DPR has partnered with 23 BBE and SLBE firms to work on the project, which has a goal of 35% MBE participation.
