Valrico Woman Killed In Head-On Collision In Alabama
A Valrico woman was killed and one other was injured in a head-on crash Wednesday night in Alabama.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Valrico woman was killed and one other was injured in a head-on crash Wednesday night in Alabama.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says Ariel S. Burcham, 24, of Valrico, Florida, was killed when the 2026 Kia K4 she was driving collided head-on with a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Burcham was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, a man from Northport, Alabama, was injured in the crash and taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
ALEA did not provide information on the extent of his injuries.

ALEA said the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 82 near mile marker 59, about five miles east of Tuscaloosa.
Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the crash.
