Recognizing that the Tampa Bay region is ranked as one of the most dangerous places to walk or bike in the country, Walk Bike Tampa promotes safe and active transportation options for all Tampa residents.

“We have heard from people across Tampa about how troubling it is for pedestrians and bikers to safely use the road. This year alone, at least 28 pedestrians and bicyclists have been killed in Hillsborough County. Enough is enough.” Brewer said.
