West Columbus Drive, North Himes Avenue Closed For Repairs
The repairs are expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, depending on the weather conditions.

TAMPA, FL — Beginning Wednesday at 9 p.m., all southbound lanes on North Himes Avenue will be closed between West Union and West Main streets as the Tampa Water Department restores the asphalt on the roadway following earlier work to repair a water main break on West Columbus Drive.
Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the work. Asphalt restoration is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. Thursday, at which time the road will be reopened. City workers will return to complete permanent striping of the roadway at a later date.
All westbound lanes of West Columbus Drive between North Lincoln Avenue and North Himes Avenue were closed Wednesday morning while the Tampa Water Department repaired a water main break.

Barricades and signs have been put up to assist with traffic flow. Drivers are urged to use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to the lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.
