WestShore Plaza To Feature Local Authors, Bloggers At Book Fair

TAMPA, FL -- On Point Executive Center will host its fourth annual Book Fair at WestShore Plaza Saturday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

with more than 100 local authors, bloggers, publishers, artists, literary-themed vendors and local favorite pop-up shops at a free event tailored for the whole family.

Authors will be on site for book signings and conversations about their work, with several well-known publishers available to discuss personal book ventures.

“The plaza corridors will be filled with local authors, bloggers, magazines and publishers seeking to meet eager new readers and fan favorites,” said Karen Gillman, vice president of On Point Executive Center. “We’re delighted to bring this event back to the WestShore Plaza, which is the perfect venue to host families and the general community.”

Alicia Campos of Happy Art Industries will share her book and a place to sit down and create a “paint and take” canvas or bookmark.

The Bay Area Professional Writers Guild (BAPWG) will host three tables where their authors will rotate hosting their meet-and-greet.

The Junior League of Tampa will be ons hand sharing its cookbook and information about its popular annual fundraising event – The Holiday Gift Market by Publix.

One of the registered authors, publishers or vendors will be awarded a $1,000 Business Builder Grant courtesy of Karen R. Mertes and her charity Fulfill Your Destiny.

Both fiction and nonfiction works will be represented, covering all genres of writing.
