Whiting Street Closure In Downtown Tampa Extended To Wednesday

TAMPA, FL — Due to more extensive repairs needed to complete the work, all travel lanes on East Whiting Street will remain closed between South Franklin Street and South Florida Avenue in downtown Tampa while the Tampa Water Department completes repairs from a previous water main break.

Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow.

Modifications may be necessary during the work. The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is now expected by 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26.
