TAMPA, FL — A year after the death of a 28-year-old man at a large street party in Tampa, police are asking for tips so they can make an arrest and give the family some closure.
Shortly after midnight on July 12, 2020, officers responded to a report of gunshots during a large party in the area of North 23rd Street and East Lake Avenue
When they arrived, police found Dwayne Saddler with a gunshot wound. They immediately began giving first aid, however, Saddler died at the scene.

A second gunshot victim was found near North 22nd Street and East 29th Avenue, and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Despite the large number of people in the area at the time of the shooting, detectives have little information on what took place.
Saddler's family has released a photo in the hopes someone will come forward with information.

Anyone with information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application. Crime Stoppers must be contacted first to be eligible for a cash reward.
