
Tampa Bay area residents ready for sweater weather may soon have their wishes granted.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a change before week’s end. The bad news, however, is that we’ll have to endure a few more days of unseasonably warm temperatures before cooler ones make an appearance.
The week kicks off with a high around 83 degrees on Monday throughout much of the Bay area and an overnight low in the mid-60s. Sunny conditions are expected throughout much of the day. Tuesday is anticipated to be a near repeat of Monday.

Wednesday ushers in a bit of a change with a high around 80 anticipated. Rain chances move into the forecast that day with a 20 percent chance forecast in the daytime hours and about 30 percent chance overnight.
Thursday’s the day the thermometer isn’t expected to break the 80-degree mark. With a 40 percent chance of showers in the day and evening hours anticipated, the high is expected to reach only about 76 degrees with a low around 65.

Friday brings more rain chances and a slightly cooler anticipated high. Overnight lows should drop into the low 60s.
As of Monday, forecasters expected cooler temperatures to stick around through the weekend with rain clearing out of the picture, as well.
