
Tampa Bay area residents hoping the mild weather from the weekend will last are in luck for a few days at least.
According to the National Weather Service, the workweek kicks off with a mostly sunny Monday with a high around 90. An overnight low in the low 70s and partly cloudy skies are expected to cap off the day.
Tuesday starts out with much the same forecast, but things to begin to change in the afternoon hours. A high in the upper 80s is expected in much of the Bay area with the possibility of storms creeping into the forecast later in the day. By the evening hours, storm chances rise to about 30 percent. The overnight low is anticipated to fall into the low 70s.

Wednesday
- High temperature – Upper 80s
- Low temperature – Low 70s
- Rain chances – About 50 percent in the afternoon and evening hours.
Thursday
- High temperature – Mid- to upper 80s
- Low temperature – Low 70s
- Rain chances – About 20 percent to start off the day, gradually rising to 50 percent in the afternoon and evening hours.
Friday
- High temperature – Mid-80s
- Low temperature – Low 70s
- Rain chances – About 50 percent in the day and evening hours.
