Workweek Weather: When Will Cooler Temps Return?
Find out what's in store for the Tampa Bay area.

The weekend is over and so is the Tampa Bay area’s reprieve from unseasonably warm temperatures.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday’s high is expected to climb into the mid-80s with a low near 70 degrees. On the upside, rain isn’t anticipated.
Tuesday delivers more of the same with slightly higher temperatures and mostly sunny conditions on tap. The high should reach about 86 degrees in much of the Bay area with a low around 72 in the overnight hours.

Wednesday begins as a near repeat of Tuesday, but things do begin to change in the overnight hours with a 30-to-40 percent chance of rain in the forecast. The high should still climb into the mid- to upper-80s that day with an even warmer low around 73 expected.
Cooler temperatures and more rain are in the cards on Thursday. Forecasters expect a high in the low 80s and about a 40 percent chance of showers. Rain chances linger in the overnight hours and into Friday.

The good news is that Friday should offer a little break from the heat. The high is expected to only reach about 80 degrees with an overnight low around 66 forecast for much of the region. Keep in mind, that 80-degree mark is still above the historical average for November of about 78 degrees, according to The Weather Channel.
Rain chances and highs in the low 80s remain in the forecast heading into the weekend.
