White Car Sought In Fossil Park Shooting Investigation: Police
A man is in critical but stable condition Monday after a shooting at the Fossil Park basketball courts Sunday night, St. Pete police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — As part of the investigation into Sunday night’s shooting at Fossil Park, police are searching for a white car that left the park around that time, the St. Petersburg Police Department shared on its Facebook page.
Investigators say the people in the car “may have information about what happened.”

A man was critically injured after being shot near the basketball courts around 8:15 p.m. The 36-year-old victim got into an altercation near the courts when shots were fired, police said.
He was brought to a hospital with critical injuries. As of Monday morning, the victim is in critical but stable condition, Yolanda Fernandez, public information officer, said.
