13-Year-Old Dies After Being Hit By Motorcycle: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 13-year-old boy died after being hit by a motorcycle early Sunday morning, according to a St. Petersburg police news release.

Around 12:30 a.m., the motorcyclist, who was heading south on 28th Street North, hit the teenager, Ethan Martin, near 110th Avenue North.

Martin was crossing 28th Street North from east to west where a group was gathered, police said.

The motorcyclist, who hasn’t been named, was brought to a local hospital and is in critical but stable condition.

The investigation remains ongoing, the department said.
