St. Pete Police Investigate 3 Sunday Shootings
St. Petersburg Police are investigating three shootings that occurred Sunday, Sept. 30.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police are investigating three shooting deaths that took place Sunday, Sept. 30.
At 2:45 p.m., St. Peter Police received a call of a man shot in the alley on 13th Avenue South near Martin Luther King Jr. Street. The man, Malik Oliver, 19, was confirmed dead at the hospital. Police are looking for a newer white Ford Fusion with a black fin and spoke rims seen leaving the area.
Then, at 7:15 p.m., Jasima McKinnie, 29, was shot and critically injured in front of her home in the 5200 block of 6th Street South. She was transported to Bayfront Health in serious condition.

A few minutes later, police were called to a scene a few blocks away at Sunrise and 4th Street South. Marty Zerrell Stone Jr., 29, who police believe shot McKinnie, had fatally shot himself. The two were in an on-again/off-again relationship.
