2 Arrested In 1-Month-Old Boy’s Death: St. Pete Police
A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the death of a 1-month-old boy in St. Petersburg, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Two people were arrested in connection with the death of a 1-month-old boy in their care, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.
Gabriella Daniels, 22, and Ashton Kurant, 21, were charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect for injuries the boy suffered, investigators said.
The infant was brought to a local hospital on Thursday for medical treatment. He later died at the hospital.

The boy was found to have bruises along his hairline and multiple lacerations throughout his body, police said.
The investigation is ongoing. Because of the confidential nature of the case, no information identifying the child will be released.
