They're accused of stealing firearms and other police-related equipment.

The St. Petersburg Police Department has made two arrests in a May 5 auto burglary that resulted in the theft of two firearms and other equipment from an undercover vehicle that belonged to a detective.

The crime in question occurred around 2 a.m. that morning with the targeted vehicle belonging to the St. Petersburg law enforcement agency. Police say they have recovered the stolen items and have arrested two men in connection with the crime.
