2 Injured In Birthday Party Shooting
The incident happened early Sunday morning at a St. Petersburg Holiday Inn.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday at a Holiday Inn Express.
According to the agency, police were called around 12:30 a.m. about a shooting at the 2171 54th Ave. N. motel that occurred during a birthday party. Police say an argument broke out and a Tampa man and teenager were both shot.
The man, Octavius David Brown, 19, is in critical, but stable condition at a local hospital. The teen, Demetrius Crawford, 17, was shot in the hand and is being treated for his injuries.
