2 Teens Charged in Dixie Hollins High Sexual Battery

Two teenage boys face sexual battery charges following an attack on a 15-year-old girl at Dixie Hollins High School.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation into the January incident was launched Monday after the victim told deputies she was sexually battered in a room on the 4940 62nd St. N. campus.

Detectives in the case identified two teenage boys, 17 and 15, as suspects. The boys were interviewed on Wednesday and were both ultimately charged with a single count of sexual battery each.

The teens were booked into the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center. Patch is not releasing the names of the teens charged.
