2nd Teen Escapee Caught In St. Pete
The 17-year-old was captured after an anonymous tip was called into the St. Petersburg Police Department.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 17-year-old boy on the lam since a Jan. 31 breakout from the Falkenburg Academy in Hillsborough County has been captured in St. Petersburg.
The St. Petersburg Police Department says it received an anonymous call Tuesday morning that Anthony Cook, 17, was at 320 Northeast Blvd. N. When officers arrived on the scene, they confirmed Cook’s presence and brought him into custody without incident, the agency reported in an email to media.
St. Petersburg Police were also responsible for capturing the other teen wanted in connection with the breakout from the Hillsborough juvenile detention facility. The capture of Anthony Bays, 18, was announced Monday.

Bays and Cook were both being held at the detention facility on grand theft auto charges.
The two boys reportedly made their escape after cutting a hole in a chain link fence at the detention center, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has said.
