Police Crackdown On Drivers In 'High-Crash' Area: St. Pete Police
St. Pete police and the Florida Department of Transportation partner on traffic enforcement along U.S. Highway 19 on Wednesday.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg police are focusing on traffic enforcement along 34th Street North/U.S. Highway 19 on Wednesday.
The highway is “a high-crash roadway,” the St. Petersburg Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
The department is partnering with the Florida Department of Transportation and other local law enforcement agencies on the operation.

“Let's remember to slow down and be alert! Speeding can wreck your day,” St. Pete police said.
