8 People Injured When Shots Fired In Cabana Sands Parking Lot
St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of the Cabana Sands nightclub wounded eight people.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of the Cabana Sands nightclub, 4300 6th St. S., that sent eight people to the hospital with injuries, five with gunshot wounds.
Just after midnight Thursday, police were called to investigate a hit-and-run crash. While there, several shots were fired and the crowd disbursed.
Detectives believe an altercation inside Cabana Sands may have led to the shooting. They've identified and are searching for two people they believe may be involved.

Eight people were treated for injuries, five of which suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Most of the victims have been treated and released from the hospital.
