Alanis Morissette, Pat Benatar Announce Bay Area Tour Dates

The Mahaffey Theater has announced that two powerhouse female singers will grace its stage this spring.

First up is Alanis Morissette with an April 28 show in advance of the 20th anniversary of her “Jagged Little Pill” album.

Tickets for the show start at $49.50 and go on sale to the general public starting at noon on March 6. They’re available through the theater’s website at www.themahaffey.com or by calling 727-893-7832.

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will also take the stage May 19 during their 35th anniversary tour. Tickets for that show go on sale via the theater starting Feb. 28 at noon. It is unclear how much general admission tickets will start at for the show, but VIP packages are currently on sale starting at $199 via the BenatarGiraldo website.

Morissette is famed for such tunes as “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic.” Benatar is known for tearing up the stage with such songs as “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and “Love is a Battlefield.”
