• Bookstore Opens Pop-Up Shop In St. Pete Hotel Lobby (patch.com) — Book lovers in St. Petersburg can now browse Pages and Perks inside the Cordova Inn’s lobby while they wait for the Roser Park brick-and-mortar location to open in August. The pop-up shop, next to The Scott coffee bar, plans to stay even after the main store opens and is also tapping into downtown crowds at the nearby Saturday Morning Market.    

• The Chattaway To Remain Open In St. Pete Under New Ownership: Report (patch.com) — Fans of The Chattaway in St. Petersburg can breathe easier as the 75-year-old neighborhood staple is set to remain open under a new local ownership group. The property sale is still expected to close in August, but the restaurant will continue operating at its familiar 22nd Avenue South location instead of shutting down this summer.    

• PHOTOS: St Pete Pride holds 2026 Stonewall Reception (watermarkoutnews.com) — St. Petersburg’s LGBTQ+ community and allies recently gathered at Coastal Creative for St Pete Pride’s 2026 Stonewall Reception, joined by Mayor Ken Welch and other local leaders. Speakers celebrated 25 years of Pride in St. Pete while acknowledging funding challenges and renewed political pressure, emphasizing that the organization will remain visible and active as it prepares for upcoming Pride events.
