Hubbard’s Marina Boutique Reopening At John’s Pass 2 Years After Hurricane

Two years after being damaged during Hurricane Helene, Hubbard's Marina is reopening its boutique at John's Pass Village.

MADEIRA BEACH, FL — Hubbard's Marina is reopening its boutique at John's Pass Village nearly two years after Hurricane Helene caused significant structural damage to the storefront.

The boutique, at 12825 Village Blvd., will celebrate its grand reopening on Tuesday at 10 a.m., according to a news release.

The storefront serves as a hub for Hubbard's Marina ticket sales and trip information while also offering locally made art, unique gifts and souvenirs.

The location remained closed while the building underwent permitting and rehabilitation following Helene, which struck the region in September 2024.

"While we were able to open our main locations just days following these back-to-back major hurricanes at the end of 2024, this location has taken some more time due to structural issues," CEO Dylan Hubbard said in a statement.

Hubbard said the company is looking forward to the reopening as the region continues to recover from the hurricanes.

"While we were able to open our main locations just days following these back-to-back major hurricanes at the end of 2024, this location has taken some more time due to structural issues," Dylan Hubbard, CEO, said in a news release. "However, we are happy to be out of the permitting and building process and ready to look forward to a bright future not only for this store, but for all of our region as we continue to demonstrate resilience and determination to put those disasters in our rearview."

The family-owned marina has operated at John's Pass since 1928 and offers fishing trips, private charters, dolphin cruises, ferry service and other water-based experiences.
