Argument Led to Fatal Shooting: Police

A 25-year-old St. Petersburg man died Sunday night after being shot multiple times.

A dispute between two residents at the Fountainhead Court Apartments resulted in the death of a 25-year-old man Sunday night.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Aaron Anthony Davis and another resident became involved in a dispute at 600 40th St. N. sometime before 10 p.m. When that dispute became heated, the other man pulled out a gun and fired several shots at Davis.

Davis was taken to Bayfront Health, but died as a result of his injuries, police wrote in an email to media.

Police have interviewed several witnesses, but have not made an arrest as of yet. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Detective Daniel Cruz at 727-893-4964.

It is unclear at this time what the two men were arguing about.
