Arrest Made in St. Pete Shooting

The suspect was brought into custody Thursday night.

An arrest has been made in connection with an attempted homicide that occurred Monday on Dr. Martin Luther King Street South.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Jimmie Lee Bradshaw, 21, was brought into custody around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at 3401 37th St. S., No. 58. Bradshaw now faces aggravated battery and shooting into an occupied dwelling charges. He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail with bond set at $100,000.

The crime that led to Bradshaw’s arrest took place Monday just before 8 p.m. at 1205 Dr. Martin Luther King St. S. Police say an argument between Bradshaw and James Ford, 33, broke out. Bradshaw is accused of pulling out a gun and firing at Ford’s upper torso.

Ford was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with serious injuries.
