Arrest Made In St. Pete Teen’s Shooting Death
An 18-year-old has been charged with murder following the Friday night shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg, FL — An 18-year-old man faces second-degree murder charges following a Friday night shooting that left a 15-year-old dead.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, reports of shots fired in the area of 14th Avenue South and 40th Street came in around 7 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found Trevion Larkins, 15, dead in the intersection.
Witnesses told police an argument led up to the shooting, an email from the agency said. During the course of the subsequent investigation, police say they identified Marquez Bingham, 18, as their suspected shooting.

Bingham turned himself into the police department at 11 a.m. Saturday, the email said. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
