Art Studio, Paint-And-Sip Lounge Coming To The Edge District

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A new art studio and paint-and-sip lounge is coming to St. Petersburg’s Edge District.

Sunshine City Paint will open at 909 Central Ave. this summer, according to its website.

A new sign announcing that the business is “coming soon” recently popped up in the storefront’s window.

“Proudly women- and veteran-owned, Sunshine City Paint was built with community at its heart. We believe art should feel joyful, approachable and shared,” a statement on its website said.

The family-friendly venue offers various painting activities from kids’ classes - both instructor-led events and open canvas time - to wine-night workshops and private celebrations for adults.

The lounge will offer six wines on tap, as well as a selection of beers and seltzers.
