Body Found Floating Near St. Pete Pier: Reports

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man’s body was found floating in waters near the St. Pete Pier on Tuesday afternoon, WFLA reported.

Members of the St. Petersburg Police Department’s Marine Patrol Unit recovered the man's body just before 2 p.m., bringing it to the marina, according to Fox 13.

While detectives work to identify the man, the Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner will determine his cause of death, the Tampa Bay Times said.
