Bubba Returning to Tampa Airwaves?
The shock jock was booted from Cox Media on Friday, but is taking to Twitter to promote a possible return in the near future.

Bubba the Love Sponge fans lamenting his departure from Cox Mediaโs 102.5 The Bone may soon find themselves tuning in to a new station to hear their favorite shock jock.
Todd Clem, also known as โBubba,โ has taken to his Twitter account to announce a possible deal that would pave the way for a return to the Tampa market.
Cox announced Friday that Bubbaโs morning drive-time show was off the air โeffective immediately.โ

โWe appreciate everything the Bubba the Love Sponge Show has done for us over the past six years,โ Keith Lawless, Cox Mediaโs Tampa vice president said in a press release issued Friday. โWe now are taking the station in a different direction.โ
Despite that announcement, Clemโs Twitter feed promises a โmajor announcement within 20 days of my new Tampa home.โ He also said the prospective deal is a โmultistation/multimarket dealโ thatโs โmuch largerโ than his existing Cox contract.

While Bubbaโs show is off The Bone, replaced by Mike Calta, fans can still tune in on other Florida stations and over the Internet.
