Bubba Returning to Tampa Airwaves?
The shock jock was booted from Cox Media on Friday, but is taking to Twitter to promote a possible return in the near future.

Bubba the Love Sponge fans lamenting his departure from Cox Media’s 102.5 The Bone may soon find themselves tuning in to a new station to hear their favorite shock jock.
Todd Clem, also known as “Bubba,” has taken to his Twitter account to announce a possible deal that would pave the way for a return to the Tampa market.
Cox announced Friday that Bubba’s morning drive-time show was off the air “effective immediately.”

“We appreciate everything the Bubba the Love Sponge Show has done for us over the past six years,” Keith Lawless, Cox Media’s Tampa vice president said in a press release issued Friday. “We now are taking the station in a different direction.”
Despite that announcement, Clem’s Twitter feed promises a “major announcement within 20 days of my new Tampa home.” He also said the prospective deal is a “multistation/multimarket deal” that’s “much larger” than his existing Cox contract.
