Inspired by Charley Harper and his love for wildlife, this level 1 leaded glass project features a beautiful fish on a 6X7-inch panel. Registration for this class includes two 3-hr glass sessions 6/5 and 6/12. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in class. Class fee: Non-members: $125, Members $110.

McKean Curator of the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum for an in-depth discussion about how the production of American stained glass underwent a significant transformation in the nineteenth century. Learn how the shift from handcrafted production to industrial processes sparked debate within the stained glass community, introducing questions related to artistic integrity, ideology, and the meaning of handcraftsmanship during this critical period in American stained glass history.

Get your Spring garden ready!A Plant and Garden Art Sale will take place out front at GCAA ArtWorks from 11am to 5pm.Local Artisans will be selling plants, garden art and more! Make-and-Take activities include Hand-painting your own flowerpot from 12 to 2 pm (Kids are welcome!), and a Flower Arranging Class with floral artist Sarah Ruehmann at 2:30 pm. A small donation will be suggested for make-and-take activities. Then step inside the gallery to see the current art exhibition, “Growth”.

He’ll bring a table-full of Polaroid cameras from his personal collection and guide you through the traditional process of making Polaroid Emulsion Lifts. &nbsp;
~ Each participant will be provided with an instant camera to borrow and one pack of instant film.
 ~ We’ll have a quick instruction session on how to get the best results from your film &amp; camera, along with some creative tips.
 ~ Everyone will have about 35min to take all their pictures on a guided photo walk with advice if needed.
~ Digital pictures can also be brought and taken, and used to make Polaroids and lifts with my Instant Lab
~ We’ll return to the Morean and learn the process of carefully lifting the delicate emulsion carrying the image and transferring it to fine watercolor paper and other surfaces!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Memory Mornings is a FREE program for those living with memory care challenges and their care partners.
Memory Morning participants will receive a 30-minute private tour of the Chihuly Collection before opening hours, followed by a 30-minute guided art activity inspired by one of the glass pieces in the Chihuly Collection. Memory tours meet every two Sundays a month at the Chihuly Collection, located at 720 Central Ave in St. Petersburg from 10:30am – 11:30am.&nbsp;&nbsp;
We look forward to sharing a meaningful connection with you at the Morean through art! 
Max group size is 6 seniors with 6 creative partners,12 total per program.
