Cheri Holzbacher, CEO of Homeless Leadership Alliance, will discuss “Neighbors in Need: Unhomed in St Pete,” at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, October 21 at 5:30 PM. Discover what the face of St. Pete’s homeless population is. Who are the people at risk? Are there novel ways of helping people “get back on their feet”?

Holzbacher has over a decade of experience in advocacy, program evaluation, community development, grants management and nonprofit leadership. Her career includes helping secure over a billion dollars in funding for behavioral health, housing and social services across Florida. She holds a master’s degree in social work focused on community organization from the University of Michigan.

This presentation is part of Beach Drive Forums, monthly conversations for the community with intriguing speakers on thought-provoking topics. They are held on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 PM in Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive NE, St Petersburg. Doors open at 5:30 PM, presentation is at 6 PM. Refreshments and Q&A are included. Event is open to the public. Best parking is in the church lot off North Shore Dr. NE.
