Can You ID This Armed Robbery Suspect?

If so, the St. Petersburg Police Department would like to hear from you.


St. Petersburg Police are looking for some help closing the books on an armed robbery that took place last week.

The incident in question occurred around 10 p.m. Aug. 26 when an armed man walked into the Shell station at 3737 49th St. Wearing a mask and armed with a gun, the man proceeded to hold up two clerks for the cash in the register, an email to media from the agency stated.

Once the man received the cash, he took off, but not before store surveillance captured a few images of him.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to contact the police department at 727-893-7780 or to submit a text tip by texting “SPPD” and the tip to 847-411.
