ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- These firefighters proved to be the cat's meow for an unlucky kitty who got its paw stuck in a tub drain.

St. Petersburg firefighters on the C-shift crew for Truck 13 recently responded to a call from a distressed resident whose cat got its paw stuck in the tub drain during a bath.

One of the cat’s toes was stuck at full depth in the tiny center hole of the tub drain and was not coming out. The cat owner and crew tried soap and olive oil but the paw remained stuck.
