Two New Restaurants Coming to Tyrone Square Mall

KPOT, which merges the traditional Asian hot pot with Korean barbecue, will open in the space previously occupied by Rubio’s Coastal Grill.

Meanwhile, Blue Beach Restaurant and Bar will open in the space that was previously home to The Brass Tap. The new restaurant is currently hiring bartenders and waiters. Those interested in a position are asked to text the word β€œjob to 863-521-4055, according to a sign outside the eatery.

Wine Bar, Shop Honored by Wine Enthusiast Magazine

CellarMasters Wine Bar & Bottle Shop was named one of β€œThe Best Wine Shops in the U.S.” by Wine Enthusiast magazine.

β€œ[Cellar Masters] is run by the super fun and smart team of Ryan Ruggs and Kory Lynn, who are approachable in sharing their wines, which are all minimal intervention, very well priced, nearly all French and definitely delicious,” according to the magazine’s write-up about Cellar Masters. β€œThe vibe of the bar is your uncle’s basement in the 1970s in Iowa, with hip-hop music on the speakers. There’s no food, but every first Monday they host a pop up, usually with a taco truck in the back, which is a favorite of industry friends.”

Mochinut To Celebrate Pinellas Park Grand Opening

A new dessert shop in Pinellas Park, Mochinut, will celebrate its grand opening Saturday and Sunday, according to its Facebook page. The unique chain serves mochi donuts and Korean rice hot dogs.

All weekend, guest can buy five hot dogs or donuts and get one free, as well as 20 percent off all drinks.

Sweetgreen to Open in Edge District

The Los Angeles-based, health-conscious chain Sweetgreen is opening a location in the Edge District at 114 Central Ave., which previously housed the Central Arcade. Its menu offers a mix of grain bowls and salads.

Though there’s no opening date announced yet, the brand has put up signage over the storefront to let people know that it’s coming soon.

Wild Fork Market, Panera Planned for St. Pete

The Miami-based Wild Fork Market is opening a location in St. Petersburg across the street from Trader Joe’s on 4th Street N.

The meat-and-seafood market will be part of a shopping plaza being built just before 30th Avenue N. The development will also be home to a Panera Bread, according to signs at the site.

It recently opened a new location in South Tampa, according to That’s So Tampa.

Upscale Vegan Restaurant Announces Opening

Good Intentions, an upscale vegan restaurant with a cocktail lounge, plans to open at 1900 1st Ave. South this week, according to its Instagram page.

It will open at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. For now, the eatery said it will operate β€œon a first-come, first-served basis.”

The restaurant is a joint endeavor from local vegan heavy hitters Nah Dogs, Golden Dinosaurs and Black Radish Vegan Grocery Store.

Mexican Food Truck Launches at Pinellas Ale Works

A new Mexican food truck opened Sept. 6 at Pinellas Ale Works.

β€œMade Fresh Taqueria specializes in traditional Latin flavors with a modern spin. We are excited to have these guys on board,” PAW shared on its Facebook page.

The food truck is part of the Made Fresh Food Group, according to its website.

Ice Cream Parlor Opens on 4th Street

A new ice cream parlor, Small Batch Creamery, opened this summer at 5530 4th Street N., according to I Love the Burg. The shop offers artisan ice cream, as well as baked goods, such as cookies and brownies.
