Changing The Face of YOUR Divorce

In the past as we transitioned through realization of relationship loss we often move to the transitional way of divorce. Each party hires an attorney and the settlement fighting process begins.

More often than should, the one with the most money wins the best representation, the strategy process begins and in the majority of cases the parties seeking the divorce both loose in so many ways. Pain, the family unit, self destruction, time and money with this list to grow depending on the severity of the settlement fight.

With no fingers pointing, there must be a better way! There must be a way to divide one’s belongings, assets and debts in a way that all within the family unit are not touched with such everlasting devastation? A way in which to begin the healing process for all as they continue with the transition into their new lives.

While attorneys are so much needed for the expertise and guidance, could we not change the face of divorce when the circumstances allow? Turning the corner on family and personal communication, opening the door to resolution of the division through respect, comprise and thoughtfulness. Therefore, allowing all parties concerned to choose the path of their personal and family futures.

Honorable Sherrill Ellsworth (Ret) shares with us her pain and struggle to find herself after divorce to being a Judge for many years. Upon serving on the bench and representing the legal system which she loves and respects. She shares the understanding that those decisions not so easily made will change all the lives touched thereafter from divorce.
