Child Porn Charges for St. Pete Man

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 48-year-old man faces child pornography charges after Pinellas County deputies say they caught him in possession of graphic images.

David Russell Burks of 4565 14th Ave. N. in unincorporated St. Petersburg was charged early Tuesday morning. Deputies say their investigation kicked off in October 2015 after the agency received information that Burks had child pornography in his possession.

A search of Burks’ computer revealed 10 images of children in pornographic situations, the sheriff’s office said. Burks was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Burks was being held in the Pinellas County Jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $1 million bond.
