ST. PETERSBURG, FL — As St. Petersburg prepares to become the first city in the Southeast United States and only one of three cities in the nation to host world's largest holiday light maze, city officials want to make sure that all residents have an opportunity to attend.

The city announced Friday that it is providing a $15 discount for all St. Pete residents who wish to attend Enchant Christmas at Tropicana Field.

Enchant Christmas has the Tropicana Field Major League baseball stadium into a winter wonderland that will be open to the public from Friday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Dec. 29.

Guests will be able to experience five custom-designed light mazes, a Christmas market, dining, an ice skating trail, visit with Santa, arts and crafts, kids' activities and live entertainment.

To ensure that everyone experiences this holiday event, the city is providing up to $100,000 to offset the cost of tickets for St. Petersburg residents living within the city limits. The discount will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

For St. Petersburg residents to access this discount, they need to use the code STPETE2019 at checkout on the Enchant Christmas website. There is a maximum of four people permitted per order with a one-time use per household. The regular cost of tickets vary from $14.99 to $32.99.

Hours for Enchant Christmas are 4 to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday Nov. 22 to Dec. 12. From Dec. 13 to 30, the event will be open from 4 to 11 p.m.
