Clearwater Man Fatally Hit By 2 Cars While Crossing St. Pete Highway
Police said the man was attempting to cross the highway when he walked in front of the oncoming cars.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A Clearwater man died early Saturday morning when he was struck by two cars while trying to cross a St. Petersburg highway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Ulmerton Road just west of 40th Street North.
Police said a 69-year-old Clearwater man was attempting to cross the highway when he walked in front of two oncoming cars traveling east on Ulmerton Road.

He was first struck by a Honda Odyssey driven by a 36-year-old Clearwater man, followed by a Nissan Sentra driven by a 39-year-old Cutler Bay man.
The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash, police said.
