Cops: Ex-Teacher Had Sex with 16-Year-Old Boy
Pinellas deputies say the 39-year-old woman had an "inappropriate relationship" with the teen.

A former teacher at a St. Petersburg private school is behind bars Monday after Pinellas County Sheriffβs deputies say she had sex with a teenage boy.
The 16-year-old boy is not being identified and deputies have yet to say what school the woman once taught at.
The investigation into the womanβs actions began July 22 after deputies were tipped off about the relationship, which is said to have begun around July 5, an email to media from the Pinellas County Sheriffβs Office said.

Elisha Joy Kingsley of 3626 Bayshore Blvd. N.E., was arrested Monday on a charge of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.
The sheriffβs office said the teen and teacher likely became friendly at the school. In mid-June, the two began texting each other and eventually started meeting up at difference locations within Pinellas County, leading up to a sexual encounter in early July, the email said.

Detectives are unsure if there are any other victims at this time, but said Kinglsey did have frequent contact with other children during her time at the school.
