Coronavirus Testing Site Opens After Closing For Hurricane Isaias
Pinellas County announced the Mahaffey Theater's testing site reopening date after its brief closure for hurricane preparations.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL —The Mahaffey Theater coronavirus testing site will reopen on Saturday, Pinellas County said in a news release.
The site closed on Friday for anticipations of Hurricane Isaias, but now that the hurricane's track has shifted to the East Coast, the County said it now feels as if the shift has eliminated safety risks to the staff and the public at the testing site.
Coronavirus testing will continue at the drive-thru testing site in the parking garage of the Mahaffey on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
