TAMPA BAY, FL — Looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? There’s something for every interest — a community carnival, Cupid’s Undie Run, the Pinellas Medieval Fair, hilarious operas.

Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow

The 28th annual Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow and Native American Festival at the International Market World Flea and Farmers Market in Auburndale takes place Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features Native American crafts, intertribal dance competitions, historic village displays, workshops and over 60 exhibitors.

St. George Winterfest Carnival

The St. George Greek Orthodox Church in New Port Richey hosts its annual Winterfest Carnival this weekend. The festival takes place Friday, 5 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.

Cigar Box and Music Festival

This weekend’s art walk in Bradenton’s Village of the Arts coincides with the annual Cigar Box and Music Festival with live music Friday and Saturday.

Miles for Migraine

This 2-mile walk, 5K run and Relax Tampa event, which raises funds for migraine and headache awareness, treatment and research, takes place Saturday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.

Raptor Fest

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg hosts its Raptor Fest Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring trained raptors in free flight, education about Florida’s native raptor species, photo ops with live birds of prey, environmental exhibitors, children’s activities and more.

Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts

This outdoor art festival in downtown Sarasota takes place Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pinellas Medieval Fair

The annual Pinellas Medieval Fair at Largo’s DK Farms & Gardens kicks off Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an artisan market, live blacksmith demonstrations, pony rides, miniature golf, animal feeding, wine tastings and more. This first week has a circus theme and a battle tournament with hand-to-hand combat.

Cupid’s Undie Run

Every February, thousands of undie runners in cities across the U.S. come together, whether it be in-person or virtually, to support those affected by NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. This year’s Cupid Run in St. Petersburg takes place Saturday, kicking off at noon at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill.

Hilarious Opera Concert

Join the First United Methodist Church of Dunedin Saturday, 2 p.m., for an hour of hilarious operas, “Miss Havisham's Wedding Night” and “Miss Manners on Music.” Jodi Karem takes you into the depths of the mind of Miss Havisham, who was left at the altar and spent the rest of her days in her wedding dress. Jordan Blair sings the clever and humorous letters of the legendary Miss Manners, a newspaper advice columnist.

Fire & Light Celebration

This evening of elegance, taking place Saturday, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at St. Pete’s Imagine Museum welcomes more than two dozen international master glass artists from the museum's collection.

Tampa Roller Derby Recruitment & Boot Camp

The Tampa Roller Derby hosts open recruitment for all league roles — derby skater, official, volunteer, announcer or medic — Sunday, 9:45 a.m., at SkateWorld of Tampa.
