CVS Pharmacy Robbery Suspect Charged: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A CVS robbery suspect was arrested Thursday and charged, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

Mark Allendale Farmer, 64, is accused of the armed robbery of a CVS pharmacy on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N., police said.

Authorities say Farmer entered the CVS early New Year’s Day, around 2 a.m., wearing dark-colored clothing, gloves and a cap.

He approached the checkout counter and demanded cash from cashier, implying he had a weapon, police said. When the cashier handed him cash, he left the store.
