Deputies Need Help Identifying a Shoplifter

The man is accused of stealing children's toys from a St. Petersburg Walmart.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some help identifying a man it says helped himself to two children’s electric cars from a local Walmart.

The crime in question happened around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 12 when a man walked into the 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. store and picked out two electric cars. The man put the cars into shopping carts and then walked out of the store, an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated.

Clear of the store, the man loaded the cars into the passenger side of what deputies think might be a black Dodge Durango.

The suspect is described as a white male between the age of 25 and 30. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs an estimated 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, a black-and-gray jacket and a key on a red lanyard.
