Update: Dispute Between Sisters Led to Shooting, Cops Say
The incident happened before noon in the area of 2nd Avenue North.

The St. Petersburg Police Department has released more information in relation to the Wednesday morning shooting on 2nd Avenue North.
The victim has been identified as Charlotte Record, 55. Police say Record’s sister, Bonita Carol Osbon-Walker, 54, is accused of firing multiple shots at her, striking her in the abdomen.

The incident happened at 6265 2nd Ave. N around 11:33 a.m.
Record was transported to Bayfront Medical Center and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Osbon-Walker has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
A motive in the case remains unclear, the agency wrote in an email to media.
The sisters, the email said, had been out on the night before celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. “The shooting may have been a continuation of an argument or an altercation which occurred at the bar,” the email said.
