Woman's Body Found in Canal

The Pinellas Park Police Department is investigating a grisly discovery made early Wednesday morning.

According to the department, officers responded to the 8600 block of 40th Street in the Gateway Center around 7:49 a.m. Once there, they found a woman’s body floating in a canal.

Details in the case are still emerging and the woman’s identity is not available.
