Discounted Prices On Hand Sanitizer At St. Pete Distillery

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — In light of the rising number of coronavirus cases in the area, St. Petersburg Distillery has expanded its efforts to assist in slowing the spread of the virus in the community by offering a 50% discount on hand sanitizer products, a news release said.

Special discount codes are now listed on the distillery’s Instagram and Facebook pages, and can be used to purchase products that include packages of the individual 1.7 oz bottles to the 5 gallon buckets.

St. Petersburg Distillery said all sanitizers comply with FDA/WHO guidelines, and are created by St. Petersburg Distillery’s trained chemical engineers.

In March, the distillery shifted production to hand sanitizers in response to the shortage of the product in the area. To ramp up production, St. Petersburg Distillery hired 50 out-of-work bartenders, musicians and restaurant and service industry professionals to help with packaging, labeling and distribution.

Workers are following all Center for Disease Control guidelines regarding workplace safety, protective gear and public interaction. To date, the distillery has donated more than 100,000 units of sanitizer to the community, including local law enforcement agencies, city offices and first responders.

“With this promotion, we’re making these locally-made products available to help keep locals safe and healthy throughout the crisis,” said Skip Ragan, senior vice president of St. Petersburg Distillery in a news release. “We will continue our free sanitizer giveaways for individuals through Feeding Tampa Bay and additional charities, but we felt offering products of all sizes at a deep discount would assist individuals, organizations and companies with their immediate needs to help curve the coronavirus.”

The hand sanitizers can be purchased through the distillery’s online marketplace, which offers no-touch pick-up at the distillery, as well as delivery options via the US postal service.
