Drinking Local Brew Could Help Needy Family Get New Home
Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County is joining forces with eight Pinellas County craft breweries to raise funds to build a home.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County is joining forces with eight Pinellas County craft breweries to raise funds to a build home for a family in need.
The partnership, titled “The House that Beer Built,” aims to raise more than $50,000 this spring to build a house by hosting various events.
Participating breweries include Big Storm Brewing Co. of Clearwater, 3 Daughters Brewing, Cage Brewing, Dissent Craft Brewing, Flying Boat Brewing Co. and Pinellas Ale Works of St. Petersburg; Mastry’s Brewing Co. of St. Pete Beach and Silverking Brewing Co. of Tarpon Springs.

On Feb. 9, the breweries will host the House That Beer Built Craft Beer Festival at Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill, 1320 Central Ave., St. Pete.
Tickets start at $25 and include unlimited samples (while supplies last) from some of the best breweries in Pinellas County, as well as live entertainment. For tickets, click here.
